Everson Griffen Says He’ll Apologize ‘Man-To-Man’ To Kirk Cousins After He Becomes His Teammate

Newly-reacquired Minnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen expressed his regret Monday for comments he made about quarterback Kirk Cousins last year, and said he would apologize to Cousins “man-to-man.”

Griffen said that “Kirk [C]ousins is a**” on Twitter in January, having spent the 2020 season playing for the Dallas Cowboys and the division rival Detroit Lions. He also said that Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer didn’t want to coach Cousins in the first place. The tweets were deleted soon afterwards, and he apologized to the Vikings organization soon afterward.

In an interview with the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, Griffen said he had already apologized to General Manager Rick Spielman and Zimmer, and will also apologize to Cousins.

“I’ve still got to talk to Kirk and apologize to him about that,” he said. “I’m just going to talk to Kirk and apologize to him and have a man-to-man conversation.”

Griffen, 33, reunited with the Vikings on Monday. He played in Minnesota for 10 seasons before signing with Dallas last season. The terms of his contract were not disclosed. Zimmer said that the Vikings would use Griffen mostly as a situational pass rusher.

Griffen was grateful to be reunited with his old team. “I left because I thought the grass was greener on the other side,” he told the Pioneer Press. “Going to Dallas, going to Detroit, the grass wasn’t greener. I didn’t get the love that I got here with the fans, with the coaches, with the players… I’m back home, and I’m happy to be home.”

Kirk Cousins Might Surround Himself With Plexiglass To Stay Safe From Coronavirus

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is considering a bold plan to protect himself this season.

Cousins, who isn’t vaccinated, just spent several days on the league’s COVID-19 list after a close contact situation with backup Kellen Mond. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

According to Kevin Siefert, the veteran quarterback told the media Thursday that he might surround himself with plexigass in the QB room to protect himself from coronavirus.

When asked why he won’t get vaccinated, Cousins said it was a private decision.

No matter what you think about the vaccine and the NFL’s handling of the situation, this is a hilarious idea from Cousins.

Imagine having everyone in the QB, but one guy has plexiglass completely surrounding him. Like I said above, it’s a bold strategy!

Why stop with the QB room? You might as well have plexiglass in the locker room, on the sidelines and everywhere else you go.

If you’re going to go in with the plexiglass strategy, you might as well go all in!

Let us know in the comments what you think of Cousins’ strategy to stay safe this season!

Charlie Kirk announces campaign against forced COVID vaccines for college students | News

July 8, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — As students prepare to head back to campus this fall, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk is kicking off a new national campaign to push back against many institutions’ mandatory COVID-19 shots, which he says are “immoral, unconstitutional, and deeply irresponsible.”

Kirk spoke with Tucker Carlson on Fox News Wednesday, announcing a “massive public relations campaign” called “No Forced Vax” that will be launched on more than 2,500 college campuses.

The campaign will offer legal support for students seeking exemptions from vaccine mandates and pressure Republican governors to provide relief to students who opt out of taking the jab.

“At Turning Point USA, we’re going to give everything we have to make sure that students are not going to have to live in a medical apartheid because they don’t want to get the vaccine,” Kirk said.

Kirk said students have told him their universities were “basically mandating” the vaccine, telling them that if they chose not to get the shot they would need to take online courses, wear a mask on campus (even outdoors in some cases), and be subject to COVID-19 testing.

“What’s happening here, Tucker, is force and control,” Kirk alleged, adding that “what’s been really strange to see is how few organizations or people are pushing back against this.”

Kirk said Turning Point, which organizes young people in high school and college to engage in conservative activism, will not tolerate students being “forced to get the vaccine against their will.”

Some conservatives have criticized Kirk for being too friendly with pro-gay “conservatives” and not focusing heavily on moral issues.

The campaign’s webpage provides resources and outlines the key reasons for the initiative.

The four points highlighted by Turning Point are:

  • The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has received 5,718 reports of death following the vaccine.

  • Under the PREP Act, Pfizer and Moderna are immune from any legal action from patients experiencing side effects, including death.

  • The mRNA from the vaccine is transported into your cells via the vaccine nano-particles of lipid/fat composition. This has never been used before in human trials and long-term health effects have not been determined.

  • The National Institutes of Health (NIH) website published an article on January 12 referring to the COVID-19 as an “experimental coronavirus vaccine.”

Kirk told Carlson the campaign is “about medical freedom and privacy,” adding that individuals, especially young people who are “in the lowest risk cohort in the entire country of dying from the Chinese coronavirus,” should not be forced to take the experimental vaccine.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “[c]ompared with 18- to 29-year-olds the rate of death is four times higher in 30- to 39-year-olds, and 610 times higher in those who are 85 years and older.”

80 percent of COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. were recorded in people over the age of 65.

Meanwhile, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) acknowledged in June there is a “likely association” of heart inflammation in teens and young adults connected with mRNA shots.

Kirk said his campaign will “put pressure on Republican governors” to “make sure the state universities do not mandate these vaccines and create these almost two realities.”

“It’s almost this apartheid-style open-air hostage situation, like ‘oh, you can have your freedom back if you get the jab,’” Kirk said. “This is unacceptable, we’re going to fight back against it.”

TPUSA Founder Charlie Kirk BLASTS Big Tech, Says Mega Corps ‘Want to Run Your Life’

Turning Point USA Founder and President Charlie Kirk issued a grim warning that conservatives need to revolutionize their strategy against Big Tech in an age where woke corporations dominate American life.

The official TPUSA account tweeted “Mega Corporations Have An Absolutely RIDICULOUS Amount Of Power In America!” on April 21 alongside footage from a Turning point USA (TPUSA) event in which Kirk blasted Big Tech companies. Kirk suggested that Big Tech should not be able to discriminate against conservatives on the “highways of information” in the same way that “federal law” prohibits discrimination based on who drives on physical highways in America.

“You cannot all of a sudden have a gate that says ‘people that voted for Donald Trump are not allowed to ride on this highway,” he said. “It’s not allowed. It’s against the law. The same should be said for social media.”

Kirk stressed the critical importance of access to Big Tech platforms in American life. He illustrated Big Tech’s dominant status by stating “when you have a company that has 92 percent of all search results, 92 percent, and they’re supposed to all of the sudden be treated like your local coffee shop? That’s just a dumb argument.”

Then came the kicker. Kirk slammed the above line of thinking as a “corporatist argument” made “for and by trillion dollar companies that want to run your life.”

Kirk tweeted a similar anti-establishment statement that same day:

“The modern cultural warfare the left is engaged in right now has done more damage to America in 4 years than the conservative boogeyman of “socialism” has ever done in the lifetime of our nation.

“Time to rethink our priorities and calculate a proportional response.”

The Blaze’s “Slightly Offensive” host and reporter Elijah Schaffer praised Kirk’s newfound views:

“Yes Charlie. Love where your approach is headed. I’m with you on this. In the trenches already, let’s continue this fight. It’s going to take a lot of work but we can get serious and really tackle these radicals that are destroying this country.”

Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency, clarity on “hate speech” and equal footing for conservatives.
