Al Sharpton unmercifully blasted during press conference at border by hecklers: ‘We don’t want your racism in Texas!’

Al Sharpton attempted to deliver a press conference regarding the border migrant encampment Thursday afternoon in Del Rio, Texas. However, Texans sternly heckled Sharpton and ruined his presser.

Sharpton toured the encampment of migrants, mostly from Haiti, along the Del Rio International Bridge at the U.S. southern border on Thursday. Sharpton called the encampment “heartbreaking,” adding that the “refugees are in crisis.” The MSNBC host called for “total accountability” for U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents in their handling of the massive border surge, which reportedly swelled to nearly 15,000 migrants on Saturday.

He also called on the Biden administration to halt all deportation flights of Haitian illegal immigrants.

“What is going on here is a crisis that everyone concerned with human rights or civil rights should be dealing with,” Sharpton said. “The fact is, the deportation flights should cease immediately, and asylum should be granted to those that are certainly qualified for asylum.”

Sharpton claimed that CBP agents were using “slave-like techniques.”

“We went for an hour and toured the place that we feel is a real catastrophic and human disgrace as people around this world watch the Border Patrol use slave-like techniques — mounted on horses. It compelled us to come and show our voices and our presence,” Sharpton said at his floundering press conference as people in the crowd mocked him.

Throughout his brief press conference, Sharpton was continually razzed by hecklers.

“How much money are you making? Why are you here advocating for violence? Del Rio is not a racist city. Del Rio is a loving, caring community,” the individuals yelled to drown out Sharpton. “We don’t want your racism in Texas. Get out of here. You’re a disgrace. You’re a racist. Nobody wants you in Texas. Nobody wants you in Texas.”

“I’m a Hispanic, and I’m a conservative, and I don’t trust y’all as far as I can throw y’all. You are all crooked,” one man said.

Sharpton acknowledged those belittling him and said the Border Patrol weaponized horses.

“The Trump supporters and the right-wingers can scream all they want,” Sharpton said. “We gonna continue to come back. We gonna stand with our people to make sure that [unintelligble] is treated in one way and one manner. And we intend to come back over and over again. For people to be treated like this in an inhumane way, for people to feel that they can use weaponization of horses to treat human beings…”

The protesters continued to shout, “We denounce your racism and your hatred! This is a loving community. Get out of Texas. Get out of Texas. You are wrong. You are wrong. The Border Patrol are heroes.”

The hecklers unmercifully bashed Sharpton as a “race-baiter” and mockingly told him to “pay your taxes!

Sharpton later claimed on an MSNBC appearance that being heckled was a “badge of honor.” He also pledged to “keep coming back as long as is necessary.”

Sharpton is one of many progressives suddenly interested in migrants at the U.S. southern border after a photo went viral. The image showed a Border Patrol agent on horseback attempting to detain a Haitian migrant near the border. Many progressives rushed to judgment, asserting that the CBP agent was whipping the illegal immigrant.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) proclaimed the incident was “worse than what we witnessed in slavery!”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) stated, “The images of inhumane treatment of Haitian migrants by Border Patrol — including the use of whips — are unacceptable.”

Vice President Kamala Harris, who was selected to oversee the U.S. border crisis, said the “horrible” photos caused her to feel “deeply troubled.”

However, it was revealed this week that the CBP agent was not using a whip, but rather a rein for the horse.

A Border Patrol source told Townhall writer Julio Rosas, “Agents use their reins for a lot of reasons. Primarily it’s used to steer the horse, but agents will also spin them sometimes to deter people from getting too close to the horse…We are not aware of anyone being struck with the reins.”

Paul Ratje, the photographer who took the viral photograph, debunked the narrative that Border Patrol agents were “whipping” migrants.

“Some of the Haitian men started running, trying to go around the horses,” Ratje told KTSM-TV. “That’s kind of when the whole thing happened. I didn’t ever see them whip anybody. … He was swinging it, but I didn’t see them actually whip someone with it. … That’s something that can be easily misconstrued when you’re looking at the picture.”

On Monday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, “We will no longer be using horses in Del Rio.”

Video Shows Al Sharpton Forced to Shut Down Border Press Conference When Protesters Descend: ‘Get Out of Texas’

Hecklers at the southern border shut down a speech by race hustler and MSNBC host the Rev. Al Sharpton on Thursday near Del Rio, Texas, amid the Biden administration’s ongoing border crisis.

Illegal border crossers, mostly of Haitian descent, have gathered under and around the temporarily closed international bridge linking the U.S. and Mexico in recent weeks. Images from earlier this week showed how quickly crowds had swelled:

Sharpton inserted himself into the picture around lunchtime on Thursday, and he attempted to deliver some remarks. The stunt didn’t go well for him.

Trump’s Surgeon General Says He Tried to Refinance His Mortgage, But Biden Admin Pulled a Dirty Move to Stop It from Happening

“Why are you stoking racism where it doesn’t exist?” one reported protester shouted at Sharpton. “Nobody wants to hear your racist nonsense in Del Rio!”

“We don’t want your racism in Texas, get out of here!” another person yelled. One shouted, “Get out of Texas!”

The yelling became so intense Sharpton ended his remarks and refused to talk to any reporters, KABB-TV reported.

Civil Rights Attorney Crushes ‘Systemic Racism’ Narrative by Issuing a Challenge to Biden White House

While some migrants have reportedly been flown out of the country, and others allegedly set loose, there remain several thousand people huddled under makeshift shelters, according to KABB. The situation there is dangerous, unsanitary and a point of embarrassment for the country — which at this point doesn’t need any more shenanigans.

The one thing the Del Rio area didn’t need was Sharpton. Texans who live in the area are already forced every day to live in a community that has been turned upside down by President Joe Biden.

Sharpton’s visit was obviously not required, but Texans were asked to tolerate it anyway. They didn’t oblige him.

Sharpton had announced his border visit on Facebook on Thursday morning and said he and others would pray with migrants.

“A delegation of us are leaving Dallas FT. Worth in route to Del Rio, Texas where we will tour the encampment of Haitian refugees and pray with them,” he wrote.

Predictably, Sharpton was always coming to town to fan the flames of racial division. Sharpton on Twitter later commented on his visit, and mentioned those who heckled him. He proved them right when he inferred they were motivated by race.

He also attacked Border Patrol agents for being “brutal.”

Right now, the southern border is the epicenter of a humanitarian and national security crisis. To say that politics have played a role in what people who live in and near Del Rio are dealing with is an understatement.

Those people are victims of the politics of the Democratic Party. Not many of them were in the mood on Thursday to be castigated by Sharpton and his brand of racial politics.

Al Sharpton rattled by protestors at border press conference

Rev. Al Sharpton, a notoriously progressive civil rights activist, was heckled by audience members while he attempted to hold a press conference at a migrant encampment at the nation’s southern border in Del Rio, Texas on Thursday.

According to the Washington Examiner, two male protestors shouted at him, forcing him to cut short his speech after only two minutes and 30 seconds.

“How much money are you making?” they yelled.

“We don’t want your racism in Texas. Get out of here. You’re a disgrace. You’re a racist. Nobody wants you in Texas. Nobody wants you in Texas,” the men continued, drowning Sharpton’s message out.

“The Trump supporters and the right-wingers can scream all they want,” he fired back at the men.

Although Sharpton tried to speak over the men at first, his attempts were ultimately futile.

After photos of border patrol agents on horseback riding towards illegal aliens surfaced earlier this week, many progressives criticized border patrol, accusing them of whipping the aliens.

Sharpton was among those who relayed heavy backlash, accusing agents of using “slave-like techniques,” the New York Post reported.

In response to the media and progressive criticism of the photos, the White House announced that agents will no longer be permitted to be on horses, according to NBC.

However, mounted border patrol agents are not given whips but instead long reins to control the horses, suggesting the whipping narrative to be false.

The two male protestors also defended the agents amid Sharpton’s criticisms.

“Get out of Texas. Get out of Texas. You are wrong. You are wrong,” they shouted. “The Border Patrol are heroes.”

Georgia Southern Coach Boldly Discusses Faith In Press Conference

The Georgia Southern Eagles football team has begun the year with a 1-2 record. In a sport as merciless and high-pressure as college football, that can be a major setback for your team’s goals and aspirations and potentially harm your overall morale.

But Eagles head coach Chad Lunsford was not fazed by his team’s predicament, and in a press conference on Wednesday took a faith-based and wholesome approach to his team’s situation.

Lunsford and the Eagles are rightly under a lot of pressure to get wins as quickly as possible. But Lunsford acknowledged that there is only so much he and his staff can control and that he is at peace knowing that he does his best in those areas and leaves the rest up to God.

“I’m a man of faith. I feel that my steps are ordered, I feel that God has a plan for me…So why worry about things you don’t control? I control how we practice; I control the different things we do in practice, we control the depth chart. I have to focus on the things I do have control over.”

Furthermore, Lunsford addressed the pressure his team faces from the fan base to perform better. Again, he showed a remarkable amount of character, positivity, and faith with his response in a situation where other coaches might have caved or made excuses.

“If you’re part of a group that doesn’t care, that doesn’t want to be great that doesn’t want you to win championships, I don’t want to be there. So the way I look at it is, they’ve got every right in the world to be upset, but I’m not going to let it bring me down…we’re going to work every day, and if it’s meant to be its meant to be. I’m not defined by football … it’s not going to define my life. If people don’t like that, it is what it is man. I got one person to please, and that’s God, my Savior.”

Lunsford’s full response is below:

What a refreshing monologue from someone in an entertainment culture that is horrifically woke. Coaches and athletes often use those press conferences to make excuses or promote gay pride or some other cancerous agenda. But Lunsford offered a taste of hope for the season not just for the fan base, but for his team as well. Smart coaches will see this press conference and take notes on how to coach their team through difficulties.

Finally, we might just have a sports team worth watching.

UK college falls over itself in apologies after students complain speaker linked to gay conversion therapy was part of Christian conference held at school

One might argue — in these days of perpetual outrage — that the squeaky wheel indeed gets the grease.

Well, as long as it’s the right kind of wheel.

What happened?

Seems a speaker linked to gay conversion therapy was part of a Christian conference held at Worcester College in the United Kingdom earlier this month, the Oxford Tab reported.

And when some students learned the Wilberforce Academy’s conference included Mike Davidson — who advocates for “professional assistance” to help individuals “leave behind unwanted homosexual practices” — the perturbed students complained to Worcester College for hosting the conference, the Tab noted.

The students asserted that Davidson’s stances are “hateful and invalidating,” the outlet added.

Who is Davidson?

Davidson is CEO of Core Issues Trust and X-Out Loud, the Tab reported, adding that he has said he “takes people seriously who say they want to move away from homosexual practices and feelings”. Davidson spoke at a conference event titled, “LGBT and Change,” the outlet said.

Davidson’s group also is concerned about the “encroaching politico-religious identity of Islam” and tries to “understand how to respond to these doctrines,” the outlet also noted. But some students deemed such language inflammatory and were disturbed by a conference session titled, “The nature of Islam,” the Tab reported.

What did the upset students do?

The angry students emailed Worcester’s Junior Common Room president, LGBTQ+ representative, and Ethnic and Religious Minorities representative, the outlet said.

“Many of us come to uni hoping to be allowed to be ourselves and know we can trust our new community and home,” the students’ email read, according to the Tab. “But how are we expected to place our trust in somewhere that, if it weren’t for a leaflet being left behind at breakfast, would have left us unaware that they had hosted a group that has consistently aimed to persecute and strip us of our rights for our sexuality, gender, and or religion?”

Deluge of apologies

Check out the massive mea culpa from a Worcester spokesperson, according to the Tab:

“We deeply regret the distress caused to students, staff, and other members of the college community by the presence of the Wilberforce Academy conference. The college was not aware of the speaker list or program content in advance. The booking was taken in good faith, but it is clear that our procedures did not work as they should. We have begun an urgent review to ensure that this does not happen again. We have agreed with the JCR Committee that the profit from the conference will be set aside to fund dedicated equality, diversity, and inclusivity initiatives. We are working with students and other members of the college community to identify the most appropriate projects. We acknowledge that this was a serious failure that has caused significant distress, and we apologize unreservedly to all those who have been affected.”

The outlet also noted a reply from the co-chair of the SU LGBTQ+ Campaign:

“We stand in full solidarity with you and will do our best to take the necessary action to prevent this from being an issue again in the future. We were totally unaware this was happening and are extremely upset to hear that Worcester has hosted individuals propagating such a harmful rhetoric, and as you say, seemingly tried to do so without drawing attention to the fact it was happening. We agree that it is alarming that an organization with such a poor history across the university should continue to be given a platform, and are keen to prevent this from being the case in the future.”

Oh, and here’s what the JCR Committee had to say, according to the Tab:

“We appreciate how promptly the college took action, to resolve their oversight in hosting the Wilberforce Academy. We were equally shocked and disappointed to hear about the conference, and we would like to thank the freshers who brought it to our attention and voiced their worries. We would like to encourage all students not to hesitate to contact us if something in college concerns them.”

How did Wilberforce Academy respond?

As you might imagine, Wilberforce Academy was not happy that the college apologized for hosting its conference — and called it an example of “cancel culture.”

Andrea Minichiello Williams, chief executive of Christian Concern — which runs Wilberforce Academy — told the Tab the following:

“It seems that cancel culture has once again demonstrated the power of its grip in one of our top universities, fueled by a small group of activists who won’t tolerate any view that departs from their own narrow ideology and who will resort to tactics of misrepresentation and sweeping allegations to get their way, seemingly frightening nearly everyone into submission. That a college now led by someone who has so often claimed to be a defender of freedom of expression in higher education is rumored to have capitulated to this aggressive movement is even more concerning. We very much enjoyed our week at the college, were very warmly welcomed, including by the Provost, received many compliments from the staff and were not aware of any complaints or concerns being raised with us at the time. Yet now we hear it alleged that the college has ‘apologized’ for hosting us! We will be seeking urgent clarification. Whatever happens, we will continue to speak of Jesus Christ who was himself an ‘outsider’ and by his words and actions demonstrated his commitment to reaching the marginalized, excluded, and vulnerable so that they could discover true hope and everlasting love through him, even sacrificing his own life to do so.”

White House Press Pool Demands Biden Hold Press Conference After Aides Shout Down Questions

The White House press pool demanded that President Joe Biden hold a press conference after aides shouted down questions following the president’s meeting with U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The president met with Johnson in the Oval Office on Tuesday to discuss climate change, trade, and the $66 million submarine contract that put France at odds with the U.S., U.K. and Australia. After the meeting, U.S. reporters attempted to ask questions but were left without answers, according to Voice of America reporter Steve Herman. (RELATED: Watch Joe Biden Weirdly Whisper His Answers To The Press)

“The entire editorial component of the US pool went immediately into Jen Psaki’s office to register a formal complaint that no American reporters were recognized for questions in the president’s Oval Office, and that wranglers loudly shouted over the president as he seemed to give an answer to Ed O’Keefe’s question about the situation at the southern border,” a dispatch from White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) president Steven Portnoy read.

“Psaki was not aware that the incident had occurred, and suggested that she was not in a position to offer an immediate solution. Your pooler requested a press conference. Psaki suggested the president takes questions several times a week.”

CBS News Senior White House and Political Correspondent Ed O’Keefe said that he could not hear the president’s answer to his question about the southern border because of the White House aides shouting, the noise of people leaving, and Biden’s mask. O’Keefe also noted that senior White House aides seemed to cut off the U.K. prime minister by shouting and escorting everyone out of the Oval Office. (RELATED: President Joe Biden Nears 45 Days Without Holding A Press Conference)

Daily Caller Senior White House Correspondent Shelby Talcott noted that some British reporters appeared to be quietly surprised at the White House aides yelling and ushering pool out of the Oval Office.

Canelo And Caleb Plant Get Into A Physical Altercation During Press Conference

Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant got into a heated altercation Tuesday.

During a press conference for their Nov. 6 bout, the two men got into a serious physical altercation after Canelo pushed Plant, and it’s clear tensions were running very high between them. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

You can watch the situation unfold below.

I’m not a boxing expert, but I do know two things about the sport. You need to generate headlines ahead of a fight and you shouldn’t be pushing people at press conferences.

You know what you can do? Generate a ton of headlines by breaking the latter rule. This is a great way to gin up tons of attention.

Want to know how I know it’s going to generate a ton of attention? It’s already all over Twitter and it’s probably going to be trending sooner than later.

Make no mistake about it, folks. Boxing is as much about selling the fight as it is the actual fight. In fact, I’d argue it’s even more about the sales than the actual fight.

I can promise you this little dustup will sell a few extra PPVs for the Nov. 6 fight between Canelo and Plant.

We’ll see who wins, but it’s clear tempers have already boiled over!

BREAKING: Alberta Health Minister Tyler Shandro to be sacked in afternoon press conference

Calls to sack Tyler Shandro, the United Conservative MLA for Calgary-Acadia, have finally been heeded by Premier Jason Kenney after 18 months of public demands for Shandro’s removal as the minister in charge of Alberta Health Services (AHS).

According to reporting by the Western Standard, two sources have told the online publication that Shandro will be replaced as health minister by Jason Copping, UCP MLA for Calgary-Varsity.

Global News is also reporting a cabinet shuffle will take place Tuesday afternoon.

“Premier Jason Kenney will announce the shuffle at 3:30 p.m. and will follow with a press conference with Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw to update the COVID-19 situation in the province.”

During this July’s Calgary Stampede, a Rebel News street team consisting of Adam Soos and Kian Simone took to Calgary with a digital billboard truck asking the premier to “Fire Shandro.” The truck displayed exclusive video footage of the arrest of Calgary pastor Tim Stephens in front of his children for breaking an Alberta Health Services court order that banned “illegal public gatherings,” including non-COVID compliant church services. AHS regulations at the time required Stephens to force masks, attendance limits and social distancing on his congregation.

Staff at Shandro’s office recently threatened to call the cops on Soos and Simone when they tried to drop off a petition signed by 130,000 Canadians opposing vaccine passports.

Sources tell Rebel News that calls for a leadership review of the premier himself are growing louder within caucus, over Kenney reneging on a promise that Alberta would be “open for good” after the “best summer ever” and that he would oppose vaccine passports as a violation of privacy rights.

Alberta announced a vaccine passport, or restriction program, for non-essential activities including restaurants and theatres on September 20.

Rebel News, in partnership with the Democracy Fund, is taking on strategic legal cases across the country to challenge vaccine passports. If you think you might be someone we can help or if you’d like to fund our efforts, please donate today at

In ‘rupture’ with Church’s ‘absolute opposition’ to abortion, Vatican hosting pro-aborts at pro-COVID jab conference

VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) – The Vatican’s Pontifical Academy for Life is holding a health conference promoting the abortion-tainted COVID-19 vaccines, and featuring speakers who support and promote abortion itself, in an event described as a “rupture” with the Catholic Church’s perennial opposition to abortion.

The Pontifical Academy for Life is set to stage an online and on-site event from September 27 to 29, entitled “Public health in global perspective: Pandemic, bioethics, future.”

The Vatican has heralded the event for hosting “world-renowned speakers” such as, amongst others, Dr. David Barbe the president of the pro-abortion World Medical Association (WMA); Dr. Carissa Etienne the director of the pro-abortion Pan American Health Association; Dr. Jules Hoffman, the who won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 2011.

Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Pontifical Academy for Life (PAV), will address the conference on the opening day, before the attendees at the Vatican are granted a Papal Audience.

However, due to its promotion of the abortion-tainted injections, as well as hosting numerous abortion supporters, the conference has been described by the U.K.’s Deacon Donnelly as “the Vatican…signalling to the world that it no longer opposes, in any meaningful way, the murder of babies through abortion.”

Conference based on COVID ‘pandemic’ which is ‘too dramatic to be wasted’

The conference, a mixture of open sessions and other sessions merely for the PAV members, is being held “In the light of the experience of the Covid-19 pandemic,” and “intends to offer a reflection on certain ethical values that proved crucial in this circumstance, but also an analysis of the challenges posed by a necessary ethical, medical and ecological ‘conversion.’” Pope Francis and the Vatican are also making such a call for an “ecological conversion” in a month-long ecumenical, environmental event.

“The aim is to give an original contribution to the important debate on public health and the problems that this health emergency has highlighted,” continued the PAV.

In addition, the PAV’s conference seeks to “not to lose the lessons learned from this crisis. A valuable lesson for a substantial renewal of societies and for a fairer and more sustainable future.”

A PAV press release about the conference described global disruption due to COVID-19 related restrictions as a “crisis…too dramatic to be wasted.”

In speaking about the event, Archbishop Paglia first praised “the greatest vaccination effort ever made in history” which is “the priority,” before describing “vaccination” as “crucial” in protecting against COVID-19, but that it was just one aspect to be addressed.

“The key issue concerns the possibility of truly overcoming the inequalities soon, by implementing a global health policy based on the right of everyone to access treatment,” he added.

Speakers include staunch abortion promoters, ex-friar, pro-abortion Rabbi

The conference’s speakers are notable for their opposition to points of Catholic doctrine, particularly the matter of abortion. The Catholic Church teaches that abortion is always wrong because it kills an innocent human being, thus violating the Church’s prohibition on murder, a teaching which “remains unchangeable.”

The Church also teaches that life begins at the moment of conception, as noted in the Catechism #2270-2274.

However, the guest speakers at the PAV’s event do not all agree with this position. Dr. Barbe of the WMA, who previously served as president of the American Medical Association, publicly opposed 2018 restrictions by former President Donald Trump on federal funding to abortion-giant Planned Parenthood, saying: “We are particularly alarmed about government interference with the patient-physician relationship in the exam room.”

Barbe will address the participants on the matter of “Pandemic in the physicians’ perspective.”

Barbe’s anti-Catholic views on mothers and unborn children are somewhat shared by fellow conference speaker Dr. Daniel Sulmasy, a professor of biomedical ethics at Georgetown University, who has previously declared that “The question of whether the embryo or fetus is a person … is not answerable by science.” Sulmasy had been a Franciscan friar for “27 years,” and reportedly made his solemn vows in 1990, before leaving the order in 2012, “after falling in love and deciding to marry.”

Sulmasy is due to moderate a group discussion on “prevention and care,” and speak on the medicinal matters recommended by the working groups at the conference.

Another speaker, Dr. Etienne, director of the Pan American Health Association and prominent vaccine advocate, has previously expressed her support for pregnant mothers to be given the experimental COVID-19 injections during the first trimester, despite the significant concerns and warnings for pregnant women to avoid the injections, even from the World Health Organization earlier this year.

Etienne is also prominent in her support of the LGBT movement.

Echoing the other speakers in their various rejection of Catholic teaching is the pro-abortion Rabbi Avraham Steinberg, who rejects the Catholic Church’s teaching on the sanctity of life from the moment of conception. Steinberg declared the unborn child has “no human status” before 40 days, and then after 40 days, he argues, an unborn child has “a certain status of a human being, not full status.”

He was appointed to the PAV by Pope Francis in 2017, along with another Rabbi who argued that Scripture justifies abortion in particular cases. Rabbi Steinberg is scheduled to deliver a Scriptural reflection on the second day of the Vatican’s conference.

Yet anther speaker, the 2011 Nobel Prize winning Jules Hoffman, described in 2011 those who do not wish to receive vaccines as “criminal,” adding that “there is no scientific reason why you would refuse to be vaccinated.” Hoffman is to address the PAV’s event on the subject of “Medical research in the context of pandemic.”

‘A rupture’ with the Catholic Church’s ‘absolute opposition to the ‘unspeakable crime’ of abortion’

The Pontifical Academy for Life conference’s promotion of abortion-tainted injections and providing of a platform for prominent global abortion supporters have been described as a “rupture with the Catholic Church’s two thousand years of absolute opposition to the ‘unspeakable crime’ of abortion.”

Speaking to LifeSiteNews about the event, author and catechist Deacon Nick Donnelly said: “If you want to know the Truth about this pontificate’s curia don’t listen to their words, look at their actions. By giving a platform to pro-abortion speakers and those who promote mandatory abortion tainted ‘vaccines’, the Vatican is signalling to the world that it no longer opposes, in any meaningful way, the murder of babies through abortion.”

He noted how the “Vatican’s crusade to promote abortion tainted COVID vaccines violates its own guidance on the matter set out in the CDF Instruction Dignitas personae.” That document “categorically states, ‘These forms of experimentation always constitute a grave moral disorder.’ (DP 34).”

“What we are witnessing in these Vatican conference’s promoting abortion tainted ‘vaccines’ is a rupture with the Catholic Church’s two thousand years of absolute opposition to the ‘unspeakable crime’ of abortion (Gaudium et Spes, 51),” concluded Donnelly.

The Pontifical Academy for Life itself has been described as being permeated by “heretical gnosticism” after it was overhauled by Pope Francis beginning in 2016. The Pope released new statutes for the PAV November 2016, in which members were no longer required to sign a declaration that they uphold the Church’s pro-life teachings, while he also expanded the PAV’s mandate to include a focus on the environment.

Commenting on the reformed PAV in 2017, Lepanto Institute President Michael Hichborn declared, “The retooling of the Pontifical Academy for Life is yet another way the devil is burying the greatest abominations of our age.”

NRPLUS Conference Call — Ben Shapiro and Rich Lowry Replay

n Thursday afternoon, NR editor-in-chief Rich Lowry spoke with Ben Shapiro on an exclusive, NRPLUS members-only conference call.

Ben and Rich kicked off the call with a discussion of Ben’s newest book, The Authoritarian Moment: How the Left Weaponized America’s InstitutionsThey discussed the influence the Left has over corporations and the reasons why many companies have surrendered to Leftist ideology in recent years, in particular after the death of George Floyd. They explored how this may be attributed to the mere cowardice of organizations, citing the reaction to Tom Cotton’s op-ed in The New York Times as an example.

During the conversation, Rich …
